Amanda Smearman
Amanda is the owner of Shine & Glow Co. She is a Licensed Senior Cosmetologist, Certified Makeup Artist, and also serves as Shine’s Lead Educator. She has been in the industry since 2003 and still works behind the chair 2 days a week.
In 2023, Amanda was instrumental in working with Allegany College of Maryland on a new Cosmetology Program for our area. The first class started in June of 2024 with 9 students and is continuing to gain interest.
Tracy Wengerd
Tracy is Shine & Glow’s Director and oversees our Spa Department. Tracy is also currently a Cosmetology Apprentice so you’ll often find her at the nail table or in a treatment room.
Stephanie Dean
Steffi has been with Shine since 2017 and is currently a Senior Stylist in our career path. She specializes in blonding and vivid colors, and has created a beautiful business behind the chair with those services.
Jodie Morgan
Jodie has been with Shine since 2021 and is our Lead Nail Tech and Director of Nail Education. She is currently a Senior Nail Tech, & Lead Stylist in our career path. While most of her time is spent at the nail table creating stunning designs, she has also found her passion behind the chair as well in create beautiful colors for her guests. Jodie also recently began offering Permanent Jewelry in the salon.
Cori Hutson
Cori began with Shine as an Apprentice in 2020. She became Licensed in 2023 and is currently a Level 1 Stylist in our career path. Cori enjoys working with a variety of hair, but finds her passion in balayage services.
Shelby Atwood
Shelby (aka Shelby A or “little Shelby”) began as an intern while attending the Career Center as a Cosmetology Student in 2023. After becoming Licensed that spring, Shelby completed our Associate program under Courtney Sarver and became a Level 1 Stylist. Shelby enjoys working with blondes and has been creating beautiful work.
Nina
Nina has been with us since 2022 when she started as a Cosmetology Apprentice. She is currently a Level 2 Nail Tech providing beautiful work, and also has a focus for gorgeous brows.
Emma Soulsby
Emma started at Shine in 2023 while still attending The Temple in Frederick for Cosmetology. She is currently a Lead Stylist in our career path.
Jessica Gollehon
Jessica is a Licensed Massage Therapist and joined our Glow family in February of 2024. Jessica brings a variety of relaxing and beneficial specialties to our guests, including sound therapy, Yoga, and more! Jessica is also a very talented Makeup Artist!
Brandi Robinette
Brandi has been with Shine since its opening in 2016 and has taken on their role of Director of In-Salon Education. She is also one of our Associate Educators, and is currently a Senior Stylist in our career path. Brandi became a Kenra Professional Brand Educator in 2023, so when she’s not in the salon, she’s often helping other salons in their education.
Cindy Weaver
Cindy is Shine’s Guest Service Expert and recently obtained her Maryland Cosmetology License again! If she’s not at the front desk, you’re sure to find her behind the chair.
Kimberly Lewis
Kimmy has been with Shine since 2017, and is currently a Senior Stylist in our Career path. She is our Clipper Cut specialist and has built an incredible business behind the chair, ensuring all of her cuts are performed with expertise and precision.
Rebekah Foy
Rebekah began her journey with Glow in 2022 and is currently a Master Skin Therapist in our career path. Rebekah provides facial services, lash/brows services, as well as body treatments.
Megan Yarnall
Megan recently completed the Cosmetology program at CCTE and is currently working a Level 1 Stylist in our career path.
Willow House
Willow is one of our newer stylists and has been working hard to grow her technique and clientele. She would love to have you in her chair!
Cassie Sanford
Cassie is one of our newest stylists and enjoys blonding services. She’s currently accepting new clients!
Starr McFarland
Starr recently graduated from ACM and obtained her Cosmetology License. She has a love for color and would love to see you in her chair!
Hannah Pheasant
Hannah also graduated from ACM and received her license in June. She is currently accepting guests for nail services and hair!
Emma Davis
Emma (Emmy) joined our Shine team in April of 2026 after moving here from Frederick. She is a 2023 graduate of The Temple in Frederick, and has worked as a Cosmetologist since then. Emma enjoys all services, and prioritizes her guests experience every step of the way.
